Goodbye and Hello

Dear readers,

Yesterday was my last day as the Treasurer of the Philippines and today I woke up as a private sector person once again. For all of you that have sent me comforting words of support, my deepest gratitude.

The last three months were interesting to say the least. Readers have told me that they wish that some of the posted items were more legible. I promise to take better care and more time in composing my opinions and views.

We really admire you, MADAM!! You're an inspiration to all who cannot control the various circumtances of life and create a future that is bright for themselves. You taught us the awareness and experience...the real purpose for living...CONFIDENCE in the self and GOD...which enables us to carry on...Confidence that will lead us to victory...

The men and women of BTr will surely miss you...Good Luck...

I truly believe in your dedication to serve our country...and I salute you for that...

Our country needs people like you whom we can entrust our lives and our future. WHAT ONLY SADDENS ME IS THE FACT THAT OTHER PEOPLE TRY TO PUT DOWN GOOD PEOPLE LIKE YOU...

I want to share with you something that will keep us moving...to fight for our cause...

"Life's battle does not always go to the stronger or faste man. But soon or late the man who wins is the man who thinks HE CAN!!! "

We'll surely miss you Madam... Good luck and keep up the good work!

Dear Ma'am,

It's very unfortunate that the rule of the game in government is that... good people are the first to go. If you don't compromomise.. then "out". I just don't know what will happen to this country of ours. But of course... we in the Treasury will always ponder on your last words and it is our inspiration to go on.."Evil triumphs when good men do nothing"

We will never forget you ma'am and thank you for giving us such inspiration.

NINA,YOUR COURAGE TO FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS RIGHT IS TRULY COMMENDABLE AND "SALUDO KAMI SA IYO "

AT THE END OF THE DAY WE HOPE AND PRAY THAT THE "TRUTH" WILL COME OUT
AND ALL THE PROPONENTS OF THIS CIRCULAR 392 AND THE FIX INCOME EXCHANGE WILL BE ANSWERABLE TO THE COUNTRY AND THE FILIPINO PEOPLE.

Funny, my dad's ID has not yet been distributed and my mom said last night that we have a new treasurer!

Madam, we appreciate your short stay at the BTR and I know that they like you, basing on my parents' comments and discussions. I have better plans lie ahead for you.
